Holiday at the Hall

Festival Schedule of Events

Holiday at the Hall Festival will include the following events in 2005


Event: Breakfast with Santa
Date: Saturday, December 3, 2005
Time: 7:00 – 10:45 am
Location: 201 W. Main Street – former Temple Baptist Church
Description: Santa will be spending the entire day in Lewisville on Saturday beginning with Breakfast with Santa. The greater Lewisville Kiwanis Club will be preparing a pancake breakfast and taking pictures for children’s identification cards. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 – 10:45 am at a cost of $5/per adult and $3/per child ages 3-12.  Breakfast is free for children 2 and under.  Other activities will include a craft area for the children, holiday caroling, letters to Santa, and visits with Santa. A photographer will also be on hand from 8:00 – 10:45 am to take professional photos with Santa at an additional cost.


Event: Motorcycle Toy Run
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Location: 201 W. Main Street – former Temple Baptist Church
Description: Lewisville’s eighth annual Motorcycle Toy Run will benefit the children of Lewisville and Denton County with toy donations to more than 1,000 children. Motorcyclists begin arriving for registration at 9:00 am at Lewisville City Hall located at 151 W. Church St. The toy run will begin at 12:00 p.m. lasting approximately 25 minutes ending back at City Hall. After the ride, event participants will enjoy live entertainment and distribution of the toy donations. Participation fee is one new, unwrapped toy to be donated to local children’s charities.


Event: Holiday at the Hall Festival

Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Location: Main Street in Old Town Lewisville
Description: Picturesque Old Town Lewisville will be abound with the holiday activity of strolling entertainment and carolers, live performances on four festival stages, Santa Village visits, festive carriage rides and more. Texas artisans will be creating their masterpieces throughout the day in the artist alcove. Vendors will be showcased within our holiday market area or those special and unique holiday gifts.


Event: Holiday Stroll
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Location: Main Street in Old Town Lewisville
Description: In the heart of Old Town Lewisville you will find shops like no other.  Majestically decorated, Old Town businesses will be open for extended hours on this special weekend to welcome you into their place for a visit and a shopping spree. Get involved by voting on the storefront windows’ décor contests such as best window, most festive business, and more.


Event: Holiday Parade
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: Main Street in Old Town Lewisville
Description: Join us for our third annual holiday parade in the heart of beautiful Old Town Lewisville! From spectacular floats to marching bands to local community and performance groups, enjoy each group as they glide down Main and Mill Streets along the parade route through the festival area.

 


Event: Holiday Stroll
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Location: Main Street in Old Town Lewisville
Description: In the heart of Old Town Lewisville you will find shops like no other.  Majestically decorated, old town businesses will be open for extended hours on this special weekend to welcome you into their place for a visit and a shopping spree. Participate in the OTBA Santa Shuffle from 4 – 6 pm for a chance to win three grand prizes. Free Santa Shuffle cards will be available in participating businesses or at the OTBA booth located beside the festival information booth on Main Street.


Event: Arts Council Showcase
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Location: Community Theater on Main Street in Old Town Lewisville
Description: This showcase spectacular will include performances from some of  Lewisville’s own Arts Council groups including Greater Lewisville Community Theater, Greater Lewisville Ballet, and Musical Feast Choral Society. The Greater Lewisville Visual Arts League will have pieces of artwork on display as well during the performances. The Lewisville Symphony will be showcased on the festival’s main stage at 11:00 am.


Event: Lewisville Lights! Old Town Lighting
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Location: Main Street in Old Town Lewisville
Description: Join us as we kick off the holiday season with this Holiday at the Hall festival grand opening! Nestled in Old Town Lewisville, Mayor Gene Carey along with his special guest Santa will begin the festival by magically lighting Lewisville. The evening will continue with performances on the main stage, strolling carolers, majestic scenery, enchanted shops in festive décor, and visits with Santa.

Event: Santa Shuttle Stop
Date: Saturday, December 3
Time: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: TBA
Description: This park and ride location will be an event Santa Shuttle Stop, located at Mill and College in Old Town Lewisville. Children, families, and kids at heart will enjoy this Santa express location complete with children’s activities, refreshments, and live entertainment while you wait for the shuttle. Parking and shuttle are free!
