- Parade: Participants can enter on Parnell
St, and will be staged on S. Cowen Ave, the parade rout will
be east on Main to Church, down Church to Mill. South on
Mill to Delay Middle School where parade will end. Staging
time is 7:30 Am with the parade beginning at 10:00 Am.
- Arts and Craft vendors: Arts and Craft
vendors that need to set up prior than the Saturday morning
time of 7:00 AM, need to set up on Friday, September 3 2004
at the following time 7:00 Pm. The festival opens at 9:00 Am
and ends at 7:00 Pm that night. Arts and Craft vendors will

- Motor Cycle Show: Motorcycles contest will
be from 12:00 Pm till finish of judging and will be located
in the East parking lot of Lewisville City Hall. Judging is
as follows; Stock Class, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Custom –
anything with paint or pinstripes, 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Best
of Show will be out of all contestants. There is a
$5.00 entry fee per motor cycle. Once the motor cycle
is entered it must be left until judged. Contact:

- Dachshund Dash: Dachshund Dash will start
at 11:30 Am, till 1:30 Pm. (longer if event wishes to
continue), and will be located on Church St. behind and
directly across from The Old Temple Baptist Church, adjacent
to the OTBA and Boys and Girls Club of Denton County Kids

- Beverage Garden: Beverage garden is located
on Main Street, next to Clyde’s Old Time Hamburgers, and
will be open through festival hours. Contact: Mark

- Gun Fight: Western shoot out will be held
in two different areas of Western Days Festival, Bank of the
West will hold their shoot outs on Poydras street at High
noon and again at 4:00 Pm. Contact: Martha Neilson at

- Bank Robbery and Jail Breakout: Western
bank robbery will take place at 11:00 Am in front of
Lewisville State Bank on Main St. The jail break will take
place at 2:00 Pm, in Larry’s parking lot on Main and
Charles. There will also be a beat the quick draw challenge

- Dance: There will be a western day’s dance
at the east end of Main St. from 4:30 Pm, till 7:00Pm.

- “42” Domino Tournament: Players of all ages
are invited to compete in the first citywide 42 dominoes
tournament, benefiting Christian Community Action.
- Entry fee is $2 or an equal value of canned food, all of
which will be given directly to CCA.
- On-site registration will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. inside
the former Temple Baptist Church, 201 W. Main Street
- Tournament play starting at 10 a.m. and ending with the
finals at 5 p.m.

- Horse shoe throw: Western day’s horse shoe
throw will be located at the Green area behind Old Temple
Church, adjacent to the Kids area on Church St. event starts

legged race will be located in the Green area behind Old

- Cow Chip Throwing contest: Western day’s
cow chip throwing contest will be located in the Green area
behind Old Temple Church, adjacent to Kids area on Church
St. event starts at1:00 Pm and ends at 3:00 Pm.

- Quilt and Art Expositions: Western day
quilt and art exposition will be from 9:00 Am till 6:00 Pm,
at the former Old Temple Baptist, building at the corner of
Main St. and Charles St. Parking is available on paved lot
on the west side of the building.
- Show hours are from 9:00
Am till 6:00 Pm. No entries should be removed before 6:00
Pm, without the permission of the show organizers.
- Set up
time is Friday September 3rd between 3:00 Pm and 8:00 Pm.
- Entrants can remove their displays between 6:00 Pm and 7:00
Pm after the event.

- Labor Day Rodeo: Rodeo starts on September
3rd, and runs through September 5th. Rodeo starts at 8:00

- Roping Demonstration: Roping demo will be
on Charles between the former Temple Baptist Church and
Lewisville State Bank. Time to be established.

- Boogie Woogie Choo Choo ride: Ride will be
located on Charles St. between the former church and the
bank parking lot. And will begin at 9:00 Am and end at 7:00
